Asparagus Mary Washington

Asparagus Mary Washington is one of the most popular asparagus plants for a reason! Growing your own asparagus is fun and healthy. Mary Washington is a perennial vegetable that can be enjoyed for many years without replanting. It has vibrant green foliage which remains attractive long after harvest and has a crisp delicious taste. You can  perform light cuttings in 2 years; with full cuttings thereafter for up to 20 years.

Steve Solomon says you are much better starting from seed cost wise. Read his blurb on how to get going from his book, Gardening South of Australia.
