Brussels Sprouts Divino F1

Brussels Sprouts Divino F1 is a new hybrid variety. It produces very firm, very uniform and attractive sprouts that hold well on the stalk so you can harvest the whole stalk at once (or harvest as you want). This is a late season, medium sized sprout well suited to the Tasmanian climate. I highly recommend you sow early to late December for tall plants in winter and thus high yields. Keep the water up over the warm months.

Very high yielding based on my 2022 plants. Being a late season Sprout, you want to start it a bit earlier than Dagan F1. (Ideally early Dec)

Sow: early December to February (cool climate)

Spacing: plants 45 to 60cm, rows 70cm.

Although native to the Mediterranean region with other cabbage species, brussels sprouts first appeared in northern Europe during the 5th century, later being cultivated in the 13th century near Brussels, Belgium, from which they derived their name.

Germination: Optimal Soil temperature is 19 to 24 C (around 5-10 days to germination)
