Cabbage Capture F1
Cabbage Capture F1 is my Cabbice F1 replacement. Capture is a vigorous grower that produces 1 to 3kg heads (wider the spacing the bigger the cabbage). Heads are round to flat-round depending on the warmth of the season when grown. Tasty flavours and outstanding when used in coleslaw.
Sow – November to early March (Cool Climate). I recommend sowing by early February ideally.
Spacing – 50cm. rows 60cm
Cabbage was most likely domesticated somewhere in Europe before 1000 BC, although savoys were not developed until the 16th century AD. By the Middle Ages, cabbage had become a prominent part of European cuisine.
Germination: Optimal Soil temperature is 19 to 24 C (around 5-10 days to germination)
