Cabbage Caraflex F1

Cabbage Caraflex F1 is a perfect smaller sugarloaf cabbage maturing to around 1kg. The best sugarloaf cabbage I have grown.  Mild and very sweet flavoured cabbage with amazing cone-shaped heads. Smaller leaf size allows for closer spacing thus higher yields.

Perfect for for wraps, fresh salads, stir fries and slaws. Approx 75 to 90 days to harvest.

Sow – December to early March (Cool Climate). I recommend sowing by early February ideally in cooler parts.

Spacing 30cm. rows 45cm

Cabbage was most likely domesticated somewhere in Europe before 1000 BC, although savoys were not developed until the 16th century AD. By the Middle Ages, cabbage had become a prominent part of European cuisine.

Germination: Optimal Soil temperature is 19 to 24 C (around 5-10 days to germination)
