Coriander Caribe is a modern variety that is grown widely by farmers and is said to be the slowest to bolt!. Standard leaf shape with strong flavours. Also has a stronger growth rate than Slow Bolt.
When the weather changes frequently, this forces coriander to bolt thus the consistent cooler months in Cool Climates is when Coriander is slower to flower. You can grow over the warm months, but you need to sow every 3 weeks (I am yet to grow out this variety so will find out this season how slow it is to bolt).
Sow – Mid August to October and Feb to April/May. (Cool Climate). Allow a few plants to remain at each spot.
Spacing – 20cm.
