Long used as a herbal remedy to assist the digestion. Dill leaves and seeds are added to food to give a mild aniseed flavour. Bouquet has fine leaves that are succulent and dark green and is late to bolt grown over the cooler months. Often used in potato salad and many European cuisines. Once it goes to seed you can then collect the seeds. Grows to about 70cm high and if you keep some in the garden for flowers they attract many beneficial insects.
Sow: February to April for long term leaf production, October onwards for some leaf then seed (cool climate).
