A perennial herb growing to 50cm high. They grow in a clump and die down in winter to return in spring. This herb is vital for salads, stir fries and sauces and is used to flavour many meats. Also known as Chinese Chives, it has a very mild garlic flavour.
Sow – August to February.
Spacing – 30cm.
Be patient as slower to germinate than chives and prefers cooler temps (12 to 16 C ideal). Will be erratic if you put on a heat mat at 20C
