Grey zucchini
Grey zucchini produces oblong grey and green with light speckled fruits. Very nice flavour and yields well. I pick them when the flower on the end dies. Pick before it reaches 15cm long.
Sow – Mid October through to end of December (cool climate).
Spacing – 80cm to 1m (closer the more you supply water)
Ordinary zucchini fruit are any shade of green, though the golden zucchini is a deep yellow or orange. At maturity, they can grow to nearly 1 metre in length, but they are normally harvested at about 15–25 cm or when the blossom dies.
