Pak Choi Joi Choi F1
Pak Choi Joi Choi F1 is a large pak choi with delightful white stems with dark, vibrant and lustrous leaves. Can be harvested at various stages of development. Vigorous, uniform with high percentage of high quality product. Stores well and slower to bolt due to its hybrid vigour.
Sow – August to October and February to April (cool climate). Best sown indoors and planted out in early Spring (provide some cover on cold frosty nights). Very easy growing during autumn and winter. Potential to grow this over summer in mild climates (best harvested younger over warmer months).
Spacing – 25cm, 30cm rows.
Evolved in China, where it has been cultivated since the 5th century AD. Contains glucosinolates. These compounds have been reported to prevent cancer.
