Pak Choy Blizzard F1
Pak Choy Blizzard F1 is a British-bred hybrid designed to be slower to bolt in UK summers (similar to Tasmania). The heads mature quickly with lovely arctic white stems. Useful variety for market gardeners also.
Sow – August to October and February to April (cool climate). Best sown indoors and planted out in Spring (provide some cover on cold frosty nights as cold nights can force the seedlings into premature flowering). Very easy growing during autumn and winter.
Spacing – 25cm, 30cm rows.
Evolved in China, where it has been cultivated since the 5th century AD. Contains glucosinolates. These compounds have been reported to prevent cancer.
