Sorrel Red Veined
Sorrel Red Veined has impressive large, glossy, bright-green leaves, with maroon veins running throughout the plant. It’s a winter hardy perennial and very easy to grow. Add smaller leaves to your salads for some colour. Has the same sharp, tangy flavour of regular sorrel. Larger leaves can be chopped small and prepared like most cooking greens.
High in oxalic acid content so eat in moderation. Grows to 60cm high.
