Spinach Amsterdam Giant

Spinach Amsterdam Giant is an English type spinach with dark green leaves as they mature. This variety shines when planted from February to April and continues providing leaves towards the end of winter and early spring. Can also be sown early Spring but will go to flower once some hot days arrive.  Spinach is a rich source of iron and calcium.

Sow mid-August to October, mid-February to April

Spacing 30cm. rows 40cm

Germination: Optimal Soil temperature is 14 to 18 C (around 7 to 14 days to germination, erratic germination if sown when soils are higher in temperature – Best germination rates sown to the outside temperatures outside of warmer months and not on a heat mat)
