Spinach Lizard F1
Spinach Lizard F1 is another great option for spinach over summer as it is bred to handle more hot days. It produces dark-green leaves (smooth oval shaped with medium savoy) on an upright, compact plant that produces high yields. Responds well to hard harvesting. Suitable for baby leaf or regular leaf.
Sow: late August to April (cool climate) – use as quicker crops in Mid Dec to early Feb
Spacing: For baby leaf – 3 seeds per 3 cm in rows 6 cm apart. for full size – plants 15cm apart with 30cm rows.
Germination: Optimal Soil temperature is 14 to 18 C (around 7 to 14 days to germination, erratic germination if sown when soils are higher in temperature – Best germination rates sown to the outside temperatures outside of warmer months and not on a heat mat)
